- This traditional Japanese floor rolling bed, shikifuton is constructed with 3 layers of cotton battings, a layer of supportive foam and a layer of polyester fiber batting. The mat will be flatten to be firmer at the certain level to provide just enough cushion for comfortable sleep even having back pain and help to straight human body while sleeping. This Japanese mattress is used on the floor at night for sleeping and traditionally rolled up during the day to free up some space in the room.
- When it comes to futon, Japanese style futon is the most popular Japanese bed. Use a tatami mat with the futon to adjust moisture, just place this futon bedding on the floor or a bedframe for sleeping or store it in the closet for any occasion.
- This futon mattress is compressed and delivered in a vacuum bag. After opening the vacuum bag, the Futon mattress will gain air and return to its original condition. Wrinkles and corrugation may be happened on the Futon during packaging for delivery, but this is not a defect, please air for a few hours.
- To keep the mattress lasting longer, please use any large mattress cover sheet or comforter to put all over the mattress while using. It will make the floor mattress fresh in your own style. Make sure to wash the protector cover sheet sometimes and place the mattress outside under the sunny day for drying and airing. If the Futon will be stored for a while, it should be dried first and stored in a dry place with the covers removed. Dry the Futon on a regular basis even if not in use.
- When the Futon becomes dirty, please spot clean and dry well. This Futon cannot be washed in a washing machine. Please refer to a dry cleaner or a Futon company.
